I can’t say enough good things about Davenport Motor Coach Service. I thought the fan motor on my RV’s A/C had gone out, and Dion came out to my campsite to take a look. Instead of immediately replacing parts, he took the time to properly diagnose the issue and was able to get my A/C working perfectly without replacing a single part. He could have easily told me I needed a new fan motor and charged me for it, but his honesty and integrity meant more than anything. He communicated every step of the way, fixed the problem quickly, charged a very fair price, and had me back up and running in no time. It’s hard to find people who value doing the right thing over making a quick sale. Dion and Davenport Motor Coach Service have earned my trust and my business for life. I highly recommend Davenport Motorcoach! I was looking for repair work on my RV and Dion was tagged in a Facebook post. I was excited to learn that he was local to Midlothian, and it didn’t take long for me to put together a list of items I wanted repaired before our next trip—just 9 days away. Given the short timeframe, Dion helped me prioritize the most important repairs to make sure we were road-ready. I dropped my RV off on Wednesday annd it was ready to pick up on Friday. Throughout the process, he kept me updated on the progress and communicated clearly every step of the way. One thing I didn’t have on my repair list was tires. During his inspection, Dion discovered that all six of my tires had dry rot and called me immediately. I am incredibly grateful for his thoroughness and attention to detail. A tire blowout on the road could have easily ruined our trip and created a dangerous situation. The quality of service, communication, and honest inspection exceeded my expectations. I hired them to diagnose and repair my Onan RV generator, which was displaying a Code 14 fault. Before the repair, I explained that I believed the governor had been knocked out of adjustment when I replaced the carburetor. Instead of performing what I later learned was the proper governor preload reset, the technician adjusted the governor speed and governor sensitivity screws. During that process, he lost the retaining clip and washer for the governor speed adjustment screw and never replaced them. The governor sensitivity screw was also left so loose that it wobbled on the adjustment plate. I was initially told the generator was fixed, but it had not been tested under a full electrical load. When I asked about this, the technician said he would test it before leaving. He also told me the retaining clip was missing and that it was too hot to replace it at that time. He returned the next day and told me everything had been checked and that the generator was operating correctly under load. However, when I got home and turned on the generator with the air conditioner, the generator immediately bogged down and stalled as soon as the A/C compressor engaged. After doing my own resear

Dion did a great job with the diagnostics and repair of our Onan generator. We had lots of unusual electrical symptoms but Dion did NOT throw parts at it like some shops. He kept working until he found the problem and fixed the problem. He has great work ethics and we highly recommend his services.
